This is a module I completed in my final year, 

it was required that students identified outstanding ‘problems’ or ‘gaps’ within the market and in response, generated plans to solve the issue.

 

In this case, the problem identified was to do with swimwear and how wetsuits don’t occupy the correct unique technology to motivate people into using them. The need for this type of innovation stemmed from the societal trouble surrounding mental health and how one of the best uses for combatting this is the ocean, otherwise known as thalassotherapy. From this information, I created “The Wellness Suit: For the psychological, the physical, the people, and the planet” in the form of a video pitch and marketing launch portfolio.

 

Here, work from the campaign “Too bliss to be bitter” can be viewed in the form of brand image, product line, social media appearance, and app layout, as well as mock-ups of the brands appearance at The Big Retreat Festival, the collaborating company for this assignment. This work led to achievement of a first class grade.
